Scholarship Application Deadline: Monday, October 7, 2013.


Slow Food Austin is excited to offer two scholarships, each for a full conference pass for city of Austin residents ($100), to the Third International Food Studies Conference at the University of Texas at Austin on October 15 – 16, 2013.  Food Studies is an international conference, a scholarly journal, a book series, and an online knowledge community. This knowledge community is brought together around a common interest in exploring new possibilities for sustainable food production and human nutrition. The aim is to consider the dimensions of a ‘new green revolution’ that will meet our human needs in a more effective, equitable, and sustainable way in the twenty-first century.

For an opportunity to win a scholarship, please complete our application below and submit by Monday, October 7. Two scholarship recipients will be announced on Tuesday, October 8.
