Join us for an evening of seasonal, farm-to-table appetizers prepared by the talented husband-and-wife team Todd Duplechan and Jessica Maher. With all appetizers under $10 and drinks just $5, it’s the perfect opportunity to get a taste of the Lenoir experience in their stunning backyard garden.

Exactly one week before Thanksgiving, come out and show your appreciation for the local farming community with a Third Thursday Happy Hour at Springdale Farm in East Austin. Caterers Glass 2 Plate will create tasty bites using farm fresh ingredients, and craft beer will be provided by Rogness Brewery from up the road in Pflugerville. The entry price of $15 includes all appetizers and drinks as well as live music from Jerry Hagins and his crew.

Please join us for our monthly happy hour at one of East Austin’s most charming spaces, Pine Street Station (home of the HOPE Farmer’s Market). Enjoy a taste of the season with appetizers created by Source Catering using local produce from HOPE Farmer’s Market vendors, as well as artful pâtés from Pâté Letelier. The entry price of $15 includes all appetizers and drinks at the bar. Lara Nixon, of Bad Dog Bar Craft, will be serving up craft cocktails and St. Arnold’s Brewery will be providing the Beer.

Slow Food Austin will host our Third Thursday Happy Hour at the newly-renovated Whip In.  The happy hour will include locally sourced appetizers prepared by Chef Martine Pelegrin, along with wine selections and a specially brewed beer.

Chef Martine Pèlegrin (néeTorres-Apónte), formerly of Bistro Le Marseillais, Chez Nous Bistro and Houston’s beloved La Mora Cucina Toscana, is a life-long cook and student of cooking. Heading up the Whip-in kitchen since the spring of 2011, she fuses authentic Indian home cooking with classic French technique, organic and locally-sourced goods, and regional flavors to create a post-colonial cuisine she calls pan-equatorial comfort food.

$15 donation includes food and beverages.

Slow Food Austin will host our seasonal third Thursday farm Happy Hour at Boggy Creek Farm. The evening will feature food sourced directly from the farm and prepared by Chef Matt Taylor, cocktails will be whipped up by Bartender Lara Nixon (owner of Bad Dog Bar Craft Bitters) and will showcase spirits from Balcones Distillery and Dripping Springs Vodka. Sommelier Dirk Miller will be pouring wines that can stand the Texas Heat.  Music will be graciously provided by Jerry Hagins and Crew. This should be a beautiful evening! We hope to see you there.
